The "first four out" of the 2015 NCAA Tournament will represent the No. 1 seeds in the 2015 National Invitation Tournament, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
CBS Sports introduced the report on Wednesday afternoon. In short, the first four teams that don't make the cut for the 2015 NCAA Tournament will be given No. 1 seeds in the 2015 NIT, a la teams 69-72.
If the season concluded today here are the teams who would represent No. 69-72, via several versions of Bracketology:
ESPN: Davidson Wildcats, Texas Longhorns, UCLA Bruins, and Illinois Fighting Illini
CBS: BYU Cougars, Pittsburgh Panthers, Temple Owls, UCLA Bruins
FOX Sports: Texas Longhorns, Illinois Fighting Illini, UCLA Bruins, Old Dominion Monarchs
