Source: Brandon Golson No Longer at Louisville
A source has told Big East Coast Bias that Louisville freshman linebacker Brandon Golson is no longer enrolled in school and is no longer a part of the football team. Golson originally rated a three-star prospect out of St. Matthews, SC, signed with South Carolina in 2010 abut did not qualify. He signed with Louisville and enrolled in January. Golson participated in Spring practice with the Cardinals and was expected to crack the two-deep at linebacker this year.
Golson is reportedly now enrolled at UNC Charlotte. No reason has been given for his leaving Louisville at this time.

Golson
Per Louisville football SID Rocco Gasparro at 4:03 pm. today just 23 minutes ago, Golson is still at Louisville. I have no idea what he is going to do, but he is still at The Ville currently.

We'll See What Happens
I do appreciate the update, but I stand by my story as of now. I’m certainly willing to be corrected if it turns out to be incorrect.

It's all good!
I am just as confused as you are my man! His facebook is updated with UNC Charlotte from 3:50 a.m. last night, there are all kinds of reports he is gone, yet people say he is still here. Very confusing. He accepted my facebook friend request today, and he knows I am a media guy for Louisville…… UNC Charlotte does not even have a football team until 2013……. Haven’t had one for over 50 years……..
So I assure you Mengus, I share in the same intellectual thicket as you, in trying to figure out what is going on with the stellar young man.
Being media, I have to go through Louisville SID to talk to any player, and there is nothing shakin’ during the summer.
May be a case of he is getting ready to go or something, just has not left as of yet.
Or maybe he is bustin’ our chops (Dorsey, DaMarcus Smith)?
Interesting to say the least.

Weird Isn't It?
Speaking solely as a fan, I hope he stays because I saw him in the Spring and he looked like he could grow into one hell of an outside linebacker.

Agreed
He is a 4* stud, and it would be great to keep him, but sometimes like with RB Jarvis Giles, LB Jordan Campbell, etc., things just don’t work out.
