The sexual assault case involving Maurice Watson Jr. took its first step in court on Monday.
A judge declared that Watson, who is charged with first-degree sexual assault, would be levied a bond of $750,000. To be bailed out of jail before the trial is set to begin, Watson would need 10 percent ($75,000) of that $750K bond. This news was reported by Brian Mastre of WOWT in Omaha:

As Camila Orti of KETV in Omaha tweeted, a preliminary hearing for the case will be taking place on March 27. GPS monitoring is also being considered, per Josh Spreiter.
On Sunday night, an Omaha World-Herald report entailed that Watson is currently not enrolled at Creighton University and is banned from campus.
