On Wednesday afternoon, Creighton University announced that they had suspended Creighton Bluejays point guard Maurice Watson Jr. from all athletic-related activities.
The suspension, handed down by the university back on February 13, is due to “alleged actions that are contrary to University policies and core values” per a press release that was issued out.

Watson had been ruled out for the season last month after tearing his ACL during the Jays’ game vs. the Xavier Musketeers. He had maintained a presence on the sidelines despite the injury, but with this suspension being levied, that will obviously no longer be the case.
