Big East Tournament: Day 1 GameThread

Come chat with us about the first night of the Big East Tournament!

Come one, come all! The 2015 Big East Tournament is less than 30 minutes away! We're inviting you, our community, to come chat with us here online and on Twitter about the two games that are set to take place this evening.

First up, Matt Carlino and the Marquette Golden Eagles look to make good of a transition season in Milwaukee as they take on Big East Rookie of the Year Angel Delgado and the Seton Hall Pirates. The Pirates, of course, started off wonderfully but stumbled along the way, finishing the season at 16-14.

Then, the nightcap sees the DePaul Blue Demons battle the Creighton Bluejays. The Bluejays were the runners up in last year's Big East Tournament, and found out that life without Doug McDermott is pretty darn hard. DePaul, meanwhile, may not generate as many shockwaves as they did last year when they upset the Georgetown Hoyas. But a win for Oliver Purnell's club could continue to go a long way towards an eventual upswing for the Blue Demon program.

So sit back, relax, and join us as we embark on what should be another exciting edition of this marquee tournament!
