Villanova's Jay Wright named Big East Coach of the Year

Wright becomes the third four-time Coach of the Year in the Big East's history

Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

Villanova head coach Jay Wright was named Big East Coach of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.

Wright has led Villanova to a 26-2 record this season, and they look to be a favorite to get a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Wright joins Jim Calhoun and Jim Boehiem as the conference's only four-time Coach of the Year winners.
