Georgetown, Indiana set to play at Madison Square Garden in December

The Hoyas and Hoosiers will clash in The World's Most Famous Arena this December.

The Georgetown Hoyas announced on Monday afternoon that on December 27, 2014, they will be playing the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big Ten Conference at historic Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.

As parts of the schedule come out, Georgetown's nonconference schedule is looking tough so far, with a matchup against the Kansas Jayhawks at the Verizon Center in the works as well.

Not only is this good for the Hoyas, it's also good for the Big East Conference overall because they will be going up against a team from a Power 5 conference, and they get to show their talents on ESPN2. This will most likely serve as the final nonconference game for Georgetown and Indiana, with conference play starting shortly after.
