Alpharetta, Georgia native and 3-star recruit Kaiser Gates, a small forward and member of the Class of 2015, has officially committed to Xavier University.
The move was announced by Musketeers head coach Chris Mack on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon:
Xavier Nation please welcome the newest Musketeer, Kaiser Gates @Kaisergates 2 the X family. Georgia native, St Francis HS & Atlanta Celtic!

Gates made his verbal commitment to the program back on October 16 and is the first commitment for Xavier in the upcoming Class of 2015. Alex Kline considers him to be a good shooter, which is certainly an asset for this Musketeers team going forward.
Interestingly enough, Gates is a relative of Yancy Gates, the former big man for in-state rival Cincinnati.
