Big East offer tracker (Oct. 25): Recruiting update, offers, final cuts, and more!

It was another fairly quiet week on the Big East recruiting trail, but the countdown to the start of college basketball is on — just under one month to go. Here’s all the recruiting action from this past week.

New offers:

  • 2021 forward Mustapha Amzil (Finland/First Love Christian Academy) received an offer from DePaul.
  • 2024 guard Jaiden Glover (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Benedict’s Prep) received an offer from St. John’s.
  • 2023 guard Ty-Laur Johnson (Newark, N.J./St. Benedict’s Prep) received an offer from St. John’s.
  • 2023 center Cyr Malonga (Congo/Evangelical Christian) received an offer from Georgetown.
  • 2022 guard Andrew Rohde (Brookfield, Wisc./Brookfield Central) received an offer from DePaul.
  • 2022 forward Mady Traore (France/Bishop Walsh) received an offer from Seton Hall.

Non-Big East commitments:

  • Four-star 2021 forward DaRon Holmes II (Goodyear, Ariz./Montverde Academy) committed to Dayton, also had an offer from Marquette.
  • Three-star 2021 guard Zhuric Phelps (Midland, Texas/Duncanville) committed to SMU, had an offer from DePaul.
  • Four-star 2022 forward Joseph Pinion (Morrilton, Ark./Morrilton) committed to Arkansas, had offers from Creighton and DePaul.

We unfortunately don’t have articles on all recruits, but we got some help in filling some blanks from our fellow Big East SB Nation sites. Some recruits have clickable names, which will take you to a relevant article regarding that player.
  3.
