Creighton Bluejays head coach Greg McDermott has been offered the head coaching job with the Ohio State Buckeyes according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.

News emerged on Wednesday night that McDermott was meeting with Ohio State according to an earlier report from ESPN’s Goodman. Not too long after that, Adam Zagoria reported that the Bluejays coach emerged as the ‘favorite’ for the vacant position.
The OSU position opened up earlier this week after Thad Matta left the job after 14 seasons in Columbus.
