For most, Sunday is a day for rest and relaxation. For Steve Wojciechowski and the rest of the Marquette staff, it's another work day. This was the case today when Marquette first landed a commitment from transfer Andrew Rowsey in the afternoon, then landed one from Stevens Point, Wisconsin small forward Sam Hauser Sunday night.
Hauser, a three-star small forward in the class of 2016 according to 247Sports is currently the fourth-best player in the state of Wisconsin in the 2016 class, and his stock is currently rising. Wojo and Marquette have been going after him pretty hard for the past few months, so surely they are rejoicing tonight with his commitment.
Marquette's class of 2016, which only contains Hauser right now technically, is second in the Big East behind Villanova.
Hauser's most recent highlight reel is below.
