Andrew Rowsey has committed to Marquette University after announcing his intentions to transfer back on April 16, and after planning his visit earlier this week.
In what could turn out to be a sneakily good acquisition, the Lexington, Virginia guard is shipping up from the Big South to the Big East Conference, joining an already talented Golden Eagles team that has heightened expectations going into the 2015-16 season and beyond.
Steve Wojciechowski has already done a remarkable job in hauling talent into Milwaukee, and this is another feather in his cap.
As a sophomore, Rowsey averaged 19.2 points per game, this after an average of 20.3 in his freshman campaign. Per the Citizen-Times, he became the first ever Bulldog in the team's 55-year history to ever score over 1,000 points as a sophomore.
