Sacar Anim commits to Marquette

The Minnesota native has chosen to head east to Wisconsin to play for Wojo and be part of MU's stellar 2015 recruiting class.

3-star Class of 2015 small forward Sacar Anim (Minneapolis, MN) has committed to Marquette University.

Anim made the announcement at DeLaSalle High School on Monday afternoon that he would be joining Steve Wojciechowski's remarkable 2015 recruiting class, passing up opportunities at Northern Iowa University, Drake University, The University of Dayton and Northwestern University.

The 2015 class for Marquette now hosts Anim, 5-star power forward Henry Ellenson, 4-star shooting guard Haanif Cheatham and 4-star center Matt Heldt. Nick Noskowiak was previously part of it, but recently was released from his LOI.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound small forward is the third best player in the state of Minnesota per 247sports in the Class of 2015, behind the likes of 3-star point guard Jarvis Johnson (Minnesota) and 4-star power forward Alex Illikainen (Wisconsin).

Stay tuned for any and all updates on this development. We wish Anim the best at Marquette University.
