Henry Ellenson wins BIG EAST Freshman of the Week award

Henry Ellenson is this week's BIG EAST Freshman of the Week, per the conference.

Ellenson becomes the first "repeat winner" of the award this year. He also won it two weeks ago after Marquette's strong performances in Brooklyn.

Ellenson averaged 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in Marquette's two victories this week.

In the Golden Eagles' victory at the Kohl Center on Saturday, Ellenson recorded his fifth double-double in 10 games.
