Henry Ellenson wins Big East Freshman of the Week award

Marquette Golden Eagles freshman Henry Ellenson is the recipient of the Big East Freshman of the Week award.

Ellenson helped lead the Golden Eagles to an unblemished 3-0 record this past week as MU won the 2015 Legends Classic in Brooklyn. Ellenson assisted Marquette in defeating Ben Simmons and the LSU Tigers as well as the Arizona State Sun Devils. The Golden Eagles capped their week off with a win against the Jackson State Tigers on Sunday, and the Rice Lake, Wisconsin native played a big role in those contests.

The 6-foot-10 forward 16.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks throughout the week including a 16-point, 11-rebound performance against LSU.
