Georgetown recruiting news: Five-star 2015 power forward Ivan Rabb set to narrow list by the weekend

Will Georgetown make the cut for one of the schools that will receive an official visit from Ivan Rabb? Only time will tell.

Ivan Rabb, a five-star Class of 2015 power forward from Bishop O'Dowd High School, will announce his top five some time before the end of the weekend, his head coach told Big East Coast Bias on Wednesday. It was first reported by Jeff Fraudo of InsideBayArea.com.

Rabb will do this by calling the schools that did not make his top five, and later will make his choices known to the public. Lou Richie, Rabb's high school head coach, told Fraudo that Rabb wants to be the one in control of the recruiting process from this point forward.

There is no timetable for when Rabb will make a decision, but it will most likely to come in the spring. As of now, Rabb is recovering from an ankle injury and the rehab process is going really well for him, his coach told Big East Coast Bias.

There is a high chance that Georgetown makes the cut because the last time he went to visit the school, the visit was said to have gone well. This is a big step for Rabb because a lot of schools will start to come to watch him play. The schools that he will chose from include Georgetown, Arizona, Cal, UCLA, Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina.

We will have a breakdown of what schools made the list, and how could he fit into each one of those schools system, shortly after the announcement.
