Actually replacing Robertson Stadium

Plans are a 40,000-seat stadium, expandable to 50,000. They will also renovate their basketball stadium and add more offices.
Once they raise enough money, they can get started in earnest now that Houston Dynamo has their own stadium.

Houston Fund Raising
UH has raised about $60 million. Although, fund raising continues, a bill has been introduced by the Student Government Association to hold a student referendum which would raise student fees to allow commencement of construction.
