Eagles Sign Former Cincinnati Bearcat WR Mardy Gilyard
The Philadelphia Eagles announced the signing of wide reciever Mardy Gilyard to a futures contract today. Gilyard, a former Cincinnati Bearcat and my favorite football video game character (see why here), was selected in the 4th round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. Gilyard played for the Rams during the 2010 season, mostly as a kick returner.
