If the plan of Big East commissioner John Marinatto works out, the Big East will have 14 football members and 19 basketball members next year.

If 19 teams sounds like a problem, don't worry. "We've modeled it. If you have a 19-team basketball conference everybody plays each other once," Marinatto said. The conference has even done a 24 team model.
