Seton Hall and Creighton square off Wednesday evening

Can the Pirates pick up a big road win, or will Creighton keep rolling?

NCAA Basketball: Seton Hall at Creighton Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sports

In what could be the best Big East game of the week, the Seton Hall Pirates (8-4, 5-1) head to Omaha to face the #7 Creighton Bluejays (8-2, 4-1).

The game features two of KenPom’s top 25 offenses, with Creighton ranking fourth in the nation, and Seton Hall 21st.

The Pirates are led by Sandro Mamukelashvili, with 18.7 points per game, which is good enough for fifth in the Big East.

Creighton is an interesting case because the Bluejays have one of the nation’s top offenses but don’t have a single player in the top 10 in points per game in the conference. It is, instead, a team effort for the Bluejays, with five players (Marcus Zegarowski, Denzel Mahoney, Christian Bishop, Mitch Ballock, and Damien Jefferson) averaging ten or more points per game. With so many scoring options, it becomes very tough to try and defend against the Bluejays.
