UConn is back in the NCAA Tournament!
The Huskies, in their first season back in the Big East, are dancing in the field for the 2021 Tourney. UConn will begin their quest for another National Championship as a 7 seed in the East Region. Their first matchup will be against the Maryland Terrapins in the Round of 64.
The Terps finished 16-13 and 9-11 in Big Ten play. They defeated Michigan State in the Big Ten Tourney before ultimately falling to Michigan on Friday. The Terps collected wins against Illinois, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Rutgers during the regular season. They picked up some quality wins, so UConn had best be prepared for what the Terps can throw at them.
UConn, of course, is no stranger to the dance. And they’re no stranger to wreaking havoc. If they win, they will likely face the 2-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide in the Round of 32.
