Creighton Bluejays head coach Greg McDermott is staying in Omaha.
After reportedly being offered the vacant head coaching position with the Ohio State Buckeyes, McDermott indicated Thursday afternoon via his personal Twitter account that he would be staying in Omaha.
I'm blessed and honored to be the coach at Creighton.....and am looking forward to many more great years in Omaha! #rolljays

Given this news, McDermott’s 22nd-ranked recruiting class for 2017 will be staying together (knock on wood) for this upcoming season. Creighton keeps their head coach continuity going forward as well as a result of this.
With McDermott and Xavier Musketeers coach Chris Mack both essentially pulling their names off the table, it’s now a wonder where OSU will turn. Butler Bulldogs head coach Chris Holtmann’s name had come up in the rumor mill, but to this point, nothing has been substantiated regarding him and his status for the vacant OSU position.
