Two days after head coach Chris Holtmann officially left the Butler Bulldogs to assume the same position with the Ohio State Buckeyes, another coach on the BU staff is headed to Columbus.
Mike Schrage will join Holtmann on the sidelines at OSU. The move was first reported by Scout.com’s Evan Daniels and then officially confirmed by Schrage on Twitter.
Wow this happened fast. Only been 1 year but one of best of my life because of people...players, staff, community. I love Butler...Go Dawgs!

Based on a lot that was discussed following Holtmann’s move, this was pretty much expected. Holtmann’s staff at OSU should probably be filled out soon enough, and now we will continue to await the end of Butler’s coaching search. Said search seems to be moving swiftly if you’ve paid attention to the Twitterverse, so we’ll likely hae all the answers to the questions being asked soon enough.
