As USA Basketball prepares to head to Rio for the Olympic Games, they will make a pitstop in Las Vegas for Training Camp.
Coming along for Training Camp will be a "scout team", of sorts, featuring 25 of the NBA's best and brightest young players.
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich will lead the Select Team as he prepares to transition to his new role as Team USA's head coach following the Rio Games. Joining Pop on the Select Team coaching staff will be Spurs assistant Ime Udoka, and Villanova head coach Jay Wright.
Wright isn't the only Big East representative on the Select Team. Kris Dunn and Doug McDermott were named to the team, as well.
