Butler Bulldogs guard Tyler Lewis made an impact for the Bulldogs on the court this past season. On Friday night, he made an impact of another kind on the court of Hinkle Fieldhouse, as he proposed to his girlfriend in the historic venue.

Something different for me this evening at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Had the pleasure of documenting Butler Bulldogs guard Tyler Lewis proposal to his girlfriend at midcourt. I have seen Tyler make some great moves on this floor but this was his best move. Congrats Tyler and Ali. @butlermbb @ty1ewis #hinklefieldhouse

While proposals at sporting venues are usually reserved for tacky Jumbotron stunts, Lewis’ was organic and pure.
