Philadelphia's own Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree announced Friday night that he has committed to Villanova University.
Cosby-Roundtree is a three-star power forward via 247Sports Composite Rankings and a four-star player on 247Sports' own rankings. No matter how you slice it, 'Nova will be getting a quality performer in the year 2017.
The Philadelphia native is the first hard commit of Jay Wright's 2017 class. At this juncture there are four spots left per Verbal Commits' scholarship chart. There are an assortment of players that Wright and the 'Nova coaching staff are targeting from the 2017 class including Mohamed Bamba, Trevon Duval and Hamidou Diallo as well as D.J. Harvey, and recent 'Nova offers Brandon Randolph and Kevin Knox.
We'll see who joins him soon enough, but for now, congrats to Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree on his decision.
I'm proud to say that I'm committing to Villanova University ✌ All glory to God @NovaMBB #NovaNation
