As recruiting season enters full swing, the Providence Friars received a commitment from a junior college player.
Emmitt Holt, a 6'8" forward from Iowa's Indian Hill Community College committed to the Friars on Tuesday afternoon.
#Providence has landed Indian Hills CC soph Emmitt Holt per his coach Hank Plona. Tough combo should be able to help on glass and as scorer

Holt played at Indiana University in 2014-15 before being dismissed from the team following multiple off the court issues.
Holt averaged 3.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in his lone season with the Hoosiers. He will be immediately eligible for Providence, and have two years of eligibility remaining.
