Coming off the best season in school history, Xavier will have one fewer player returning than previously anticipated. Redshirt freshman guard Makinde London will be transferring to a school closer to his native Nashville.

Chris Mack said the following about London's decision,

"Makindé stated to us that he has a desire to transfer closer to home," said Xavier head coach Chris Mack. "We appreciate Makinde's contributions to our program and wish him well."

London played sparingly for the Musketeers this past season, averaging 1.6 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in 18 games. The Musketeers could potentially look to a graduate transfer to fill London's roster spot.
