Four Big East players in Portsmouth Invitational

Four players head to Virginia to try and raise their draft stock.

Every April, college basketball's best and brightest seniors gather in Portsmouth, Virginia for an invitational tournament to showcase their skills to NBA and European scouts.

The four-day tournament features eight teams of eight players (64 total) facing off against each other.

Four Big East players are featured in the PIT this year: Butler guard Kellen Dunham, Butler forward Roosevelt Jones, Georgetown guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, and Xavier forward James Farr.

The goal of the PIT is to help players projected to go in the second round of the draft, or go undrafted, get some exposure.

The games will begin Wednesday evening.
