Seton Hall
~ The Pirates jumped out to a lead to start the game before letting DePaul climb back into it. Their effort was fueled by the trio of Isaiah Whitehead, Desi Rodriguez and Khadeen Carrington who have combined to score 26 of Seton Hall's 36 points in the first half. Rodriguez was 3-for-5 in 15 minutes of action but suffered an ankle injury and did not finish the first half.
~ The Pirates have struggled from the 3-point line after getting off to a hot start. They're shooting 5-for-14 from downtown after starting off 4-for-6.
~ Derrick Gordon has six points and an assist in seven minutes of action, providing a presence on both ends as he is prone to doing.
~ Seton Hall has just six points in the paint after 20 minutes of action and are squared up with their opponents in the rebounding department.
DePaul
~ DePaul climbed back into the game after a very spirited effort towards the end of the half. They are within four points of the lead that the Pirates claim, and have shot the ball pretty well, going 12-for-26 in the first half. Myke Henry leads the charge with nine points while five players, including Henry, have at least four points.
~ Another facet that is helping the Blue Demons out is free throw shooting. They are 5-for-6 from the line, making the most of their freebies today in Rosemont.
~ Rashaun Stimage leads all players on both sides with five rebounds at the half. The Blue Demons and Pirates are evened up at 14 boards apiece after 20 minutes of action.
