The BIG EAST has two representatives on the list of finalists for the Wooden Award, released Saturday morning.
Villanova guard Josh Hart and Providence guard Kris Dunn were both named.
Hart leads the Wildcats in scoring with 15.2 PPG, and is their second-leading rebounder at 7.2 per game.
Dunn, meanwhile, is no stranger to national accolades, as he's been on award lists all season. The junior guard from New London, Connecticut is averaging 16.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.8 steals per game this year.
Three other BIG EAST players have won the Wooden Award in the past: Chris Mullin in 1984-85, Walter Berry in 85-86, and Doug McDermott in 2013-14.
The winner will be announced on April 8 at the College Basketball Awards.
