As previously noted, the new NBA Draft rules bear no harm for players to declare and then go back to school after completing the process, so long as they don't hire an agent.
Watson averaged 14.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game last season, his first at Creighton after transferring from Boston University. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
Watson is the sixth Big East player to declare for this year's NBA Draft, joining Kris Dunn, Ben Bentil, Isaiah Whitehead, Trevon Bluiett and Jalen Reynolds.
