The Xavier Musketeers will be heading west to start a home and home with the Colorado Buffaloes next season, per Shannon Russell of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The Musketeers have a few holes in their nonconference schedule, as their home and homes with Auburn, Alabama, and Missouri all concluded last season.

Xavier is no stranger to Pac-12 teams, facing USC twice since joining the Big East. They fell to the Trojans in the 2013 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, and defeated them in the 2015 AdvoCare Invitational this season. The Musketeers also faced Arizona in last year's Sweet Sixteen. They'll also be in the Puerto Rico Invitational next season with Arizona State.

Colorado will look different next season, as leading scorer Josh Scott (16.3 PPG) will graduate in May.

Xavier's 2016 nonconference schedule now features a possible Gavitt Game, the Puerto Rico Shootout (featuring Oklahoma and Northern Iowa, among others.), Cincinnati, and Wake Forest. The Musketeers have had strong nonconference schedules going back to the Sean Miller days.
