The Providence Friars have made the field of 68 in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
The Friars will make their 18th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, having been to The Big Dance in each of the last three seasons. Previously, the Friars have had only two such streaks in their program's history, coming in the mid-1960s and early-1970s, so Ed Cooley's bunch is quietly making some history.
Providence will be facing the USC Trojans as a No. 9 seed in the Round of 64, playing their game on March 17, 2016 at the PNC Bank Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Stay tuned for more here at BECB, including an early look at the Friars' opponent.
