Edmond Sumner wins BIG EAST Freshman of the Week

For the fourth time this season, Xavier Musketeers guard Edmond Sumner has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week.

Sumner played a pivotal role in Xavier's 2-0 week. He had 10 points, four assists, and three rebounds against St. John's, and followed that up with a 20 point performance against Marquette.

Sumner is averaging 10.9 points and 3.4 assists per game this season.
