While the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers were locked in battle in Super Bowl 50, four-star guard Mitchell Ballock announced his college decision via Twitter.
Ballock, a Kansas native whom held offers from Kansas, Indiana, Iowa State, and Creighton, among others, surprised some when he announced he would be heading to Omaha to play for Greg McDermott and the Bluejays.

Ballock is 43rd in ESPN's Top 100 for 2017, and the best player in the state of Kansas.
