They lead in points in the paint 18-12, bench points 13-8, and have evened up in the rebounding department 17-17.

Providence

~ Kyron Cartwright has played well this afternoon. Cartwright scored 10 points in the first half, and while his shooting is off, he has done well at the free throw line, shooting 6-for-7. In all, the Friars have a free throw percentage of 92.3 percent which is arguably the difference thus far in the game.
~ Kris Dunn, battling an illness, has played just five minutes. The do-it-all guard logged two points on his only field goal of the half.
~ The Friars have scored nine points off nine turnovers that their opponent has committed and lead in second chance points, 10-6.
