For the sixth time this season, Marquette Golden Eagles freshman forward Henry Ellenson is the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week.

Ellenson averaged 21 points in last week's contests including 26 in a 2OT win over the Providence Friars in Milwaukee. The Golden Eagle forward followed that up with 16 points in a losing effort against the Creighton Bluejays. The Rice Lake, Wisconsin was also a force on the boards, grabbing 16 against the Friars and eight against the Bluejays, amassing an average of 12.

As mentioned, this is the sixth time that the Marquette forward has won the award. Only Edmond Sumner is in his stratosphere, as the Xavier freshman point guard has picked up the honor four times this season.
