Four BIG EAST players have been named to the Naismith Mid-Season List.

The award, given annually to the best player in college basketball, released their updated list on Thursday afternoon.

The four BIG EAST representatives are: Providence Friars guard Kris Dunn, Providence Friars forward Ben Bentil, Xavier Musketeers forward Trevon Bluiett, and Villanova Wildcats guard Josh Hart.

All four players are in the top 10 in the BIG EAST in scoring, with Bentil and Dunn being the top two, respectively.

Kris Dunn is the only BIG EAST holdover from the original watch list, released in December.

Established in 1969, the Naismith Award has been won twice by BIG EAST players: Patrick Ewing in 1985, and Doug McDermott in 2014.
