Seton Hall Pirates guard Isaiah Whitehead has been named as the BIG EAST Player of the Week.

The sophomore guard from Brooklyn, New York helped lead his Pirates to a 2-0 week versus competition in the form of the St. John's Red Storm and the Creighton Bluejays. Whitehead had 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals win Seton Hall's victory over St. John's and 22 points, two boards and six assists in the Pirates' big road victory over Creighton.

This marks Whitehead's first-ever BIG EAST Player of the Week award. Last season, Whitehead was the recipient of Rookie of the Week two times in the month of December.

Congrats to Whitehead on this achievement.
