Players to Watch

Eli Cain - DePaul

Cain is the best player on the floor for either team, by quite a wide margin. His 19.2 points per game leads the Blue Demons by a considerable margin, and his 4.5 rebounds per game are second on the team behind Tre’Darius McCallum. Lamar has trouble defending the two-point shot, as opponents are shooting 56.7% against them this year from inside the arc. If Cain can get to the rim and get some shots up, he can put up points in a hurry tonight.

Colton Weisbrod - Lamar

Chances are, no matter when you tune in to this game, Weisbrod will be on the floor. He’s played 88.8% of Lamar’s minutes this year. Weisbrod is also a pretty solid scorer, as he’s been in double-digits in all seven of Lamar’s games this year, including a 24 point outing in their loss to San Francisco last Friday. Weisbrod also leads the team with 10.3 rebounds per game. The key to beating Lamar for DePaul will be neutralizing Colton Weisbrod.
