Christmas in South Orange: All Seton Hall Wants for Christmas is........

Angel Delgado and company would like to see these things under their tree on Christmas morning.

It is the most wonderful time of the year, as the holiday season is upon us.

As the competition will only become steeper with conference play on the horizon, there are a few things Seton Hall fans would like to see occur in order for the Pirates’ success to continue.

Improve Free Throw Shooting

No beating around the bush on this one. The Pirates have been horrendous from the charity stripe. Currently averaging 61.6 percent for the season from the line, improvement is certainly needed. Most conference games will be close, which means many of them will come down to which team can hit their free throws better, so improving from the line is a must.

Seeing Jevon Thomas Contribute

After sitting out a full year due to transferring from Kansas State, Jevon Thomas’ anticipated debut finally came on Friday. Thomas has been great on defense in practice, and after losing Derrick Gordon, this would be a huge plus for the Pirates. Only time will tell how Thomas’ addition to the lineup will impact the team. As deep as Seton Hall already is at the guard position the addition of Thomas can only improve this team more.

One Extra Gift From Santa...

Would be for Seton Hall to win their second straight Big East Tournament title. This will be a challenge, as the conference is very strong at the top compared to last year. But the Pirates have a star in Angel Delgado along with a strong supporting cast. Another thing to keep in mind is the Pirates have strung together a couple of wins at The Garden. Will their magic at MSG continue?
