Butler is 5-0 all-time against the Commodores. The Bulldogs’ most recent win came in 2013.

Preview

The Bulldogs will look to start 5-0 for the first time since 2013-14 with a victory over Vanderbilt. The Commodores lost to Bucknell by a 75-72 margin Monday night. Butler beat Bucknell, 86-60 earlier this season. Transitive property is hardly telling of anything, but the Bulldogs certainly have the upper hand here. One thing to watch: Butler is 24-0 under Chris Holtmann when they score at least 80 points.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Arizona/Santa Clara game, which will be played right after Butler and Vanderbilt.
