Players to Watch
Marquette - Haanif Cheatham
Picking up right where he left off at the end of last season, Cheatham is doing a little bit of everything this year for the Golden Eagles. He’s second on the team in points per game (12.3), second in rebounds per game (5.0), first in assists per game (3.8) and second in steals per game (1.5). All the attention paid to Marquette freshmen was on Henry Ellenson last season, but Cheatham is continuing to show that he’s a force to be reckoned with, as well.
IUPUI - Darell Combs
Combs, named to the All-Summit Second Team last season, is the driving force between the IUPUI offense, averaging 17.5 points per game this season. He’s also on the court a ton, playing nearly 82% of the team’s minutes this season.
