Welcome to the Halloween edition of the Big East Rookie Report. Let’s dive right in.
Isaiah Whitehead - Brooklyn Nets
Whitehead played 21 minutes, scored six points, and grabbed four rebounds against the Bulls on Monday night. If we just stop right there, it sounds like a nice night. Unfortunately, the Nets lost 118-88 and Whitehead’s six points came on 11 shots. He also turned the ball over five times.
Kris Dunn - Minnesota Timberwolves
Dunn and the Timberwolves didn’t play on Monday night. That didn’t stop the former Providence standout from receiving some good news, though.
The Timberwolves say PG Rick Rubio has a sprained right elbow and is listed as out indefinitely. In other words, it's Kris Dunn time.

Injuries are never good, but if you’re going to lose your starting point guard, Kris Dunn is a more than suitable fill-in. The Timberwolves take on the Grizzlies Tuesday night.
