With the 10th pick in the 2016 NBA D-League draft, the Santa Cruz Warriors selected former Providence forward LaDontae Henton.

Henton, who was Ed Cooley’s first commit at Providence, led the Big East in scoring in 2014-15 with 19.7 points per game. He finished his Providence career with 2000+ points and 1000+ rebounds, joining just Ryan Gomes as Friars to accomplish that feat.

After Providence, Henton played professionally in Spain and the Philippines.
