Hello there!
NBA rookies who recently played in the Big East saw action last night. Let’s see how they did!
Henry Ellenson - Detroit Pistons
Look, the Pistons have a lot of bigs and stuff. They have to figure out a way to use them all. It’s only been two games. There’s no reason to worry.
Henry played the final two minutes again. Garbage time. He did score his first career points though! He also grabbed three rebounds. The Pistons knocked off the Magic, 108-82.
Isaiah Whitehead - Brooklyn Nets
Whitehead was a DNP-CD, but the Nets beat the Pacers, 103-94. It’s early. Teams are still trying to figure out rotations and such.
Semaj Christon - Oklahoma City Thunder
The former Xavier Musketeer continues to have a solid spot in Billy Donovan’s rotation, likely due to the fact that he’s old for a rookie at 23. That’s thanks to two full years in the NBA D-League. He had two points and two rebounds in Oklahoma City’s 113-110 win over Phoenix.
