Creighton vs. Georgetown: Halftime Notes

After 20 minutes at the Verizon Center, Georgetown holds a narrow lead over Creighton.

It's been a back-and-forth tilt through the first 20 minutes at the Verizon Center between Georgetown and Creighton.

At the break, the Hoyas lead the Bluejays, 32-31.

Creighton

Maurice Watson, Jr. continues to play like a man possessed in BIG EAST play. Watson has six points, six rebounds, and five assists.
Isaiah Zierden leads the Bluejays with eight points.
Creighton holds a narrow 21-19 lead in the rebounding battle.

Georgetown

D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera leads the Hoyas with seven points.
Isaac Copeland had a strong half, with five points and six rebounds.
Foul trouble has plagued the Hoyas' big men. Jessie Govan has three fouls while Bradley Hayes has two.
