Providence's Kris Dunn named to Blue Ribbon preseason All-America Team

Providence Friars point guard Kris Dunn joins LSU Tigers freshman Ben Simmons, Kentucky Wildcats freshman Skal Labissiere, Virginia Cavaliers guard Malcolm Brogdon and Iowa State Cyclones forward Georges Niang on the 2015 Blue Ribbon preseason All-America team.

The team was revealed on Thursday morning, as chosen by the Blue Ribbon Yearbook.

Dunn is primed to be one of the best players in the country this coming season, standing as not only a candidate for Big East Player of the Year -- an award he shared with Villanova Wildcats guard Ryan Arcidiacono this past season -- but also the National Player of the Year award as well.
