St. John's will face Vanderbilt to open 2015 Maui Invitational

Kansas, UCLA and Indiana also headline the annual trip to the Hawaiian Islands.

Chris Mullin won't have time to relax as he starts his first coaching gig this fall. Not even on the beautiful shores of Hawaii.

The newly elected St. John's coach will lead the Red Storm in the Maui Invitation, according to ESPN, where they'll play SEC title hopeful Vanderbilt in the opening round. The early season tourney is set for Nov. 23-25 at the Lahaina Civic Center.

A schedule will be released soon.
